Better late than never, right?
My initial verdict for 2009 was a big red ‘F’. It seemed like every single awful thing, managed to happen in the past year. Yet after much analysis, I realized it was actually a pleasant one. I had gained enough wonderful stuff that in retrospect, whatever I had lost, was just bad rubbish. Good riddance I say!
Some history I can’t change, some friendship I can’t mend, some things I can’t stand, some principles I can’t bend. All these I learnt in 2009.
Whatever doesn’t hurt me, makes me stronger. 2010 is going to be awesome!
Both literally and figuratively!
It all began with the chills and a sudden onset of fever that wouldn’t go away. My head started hurting and my body ached. Initially I still thought it was due to Muay Thai practice.
Then my eyeballs felt as though someone was punching them from inside my skull, that’s when I had a vague idea what I was dealing with. Told the doctor I wanted to do a blood test. Just as I expected. Within two days, the petechial (tiny, less than 2mm in size) rashes appeared on my arms, legs and neck.
FUGLY.
This Christmas, I’m buying myself an army of frogs to eat up the entire population of Aedes mozzies! GRR!!!

Yes the fever is back in Singapore. Everyone’s complaining about the bad traffic, but everyone’s excited about the event as well. Our little island is once again thrown into the limelight.
One of the Renault drivers visited my sister’s work place, and the lucky gal managed to take a picture with him. She also won this cutesy miniature helmet and got Romain Grosjean to sign on it.
Sigh… if she weren’t my sister, I’d hate her already

Everything’s pretty much the same for me, save for a couple of unpleasant incidents. But that’s just life. Learn some lessons and you become wiser. Trip a few more times, and you become more resilient.
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
After you’re done with the juicing, throw lemon rinds at people you hate.

真不理解。
明明都是有受教育的年轻白领丽人。
上班时光鲜亮丽，明艳照人。
上厕所时却各个变成野人上身。
地上都是垃圾，马桶周围（没骗你！）都是血迹。
恶心指数:200分！！！
清洁大婶每次看到我，都向我埋怨。
我干净，她晓得。
所以我们都是天涯沦落人。

如果我因为憋尿得了肾结石，全怪你们！
有个结交大概四年的朋友突然消失了。
我不以为然，认为可能他忙吧，所以一直没放在心上。
一天，想找他的时候，发了好多简讯电邮msn都联络不上后，我才发现事情不妙。
后来，他承认失踪是因为他累了，想放弃这段友情。
我向他道歉，并感谢他的诚实。
我们决定从新开始，再次慢慢建立我们的友谊。
好朋友固然不讲回报，不应该计较，但好朋友也该懂得珍惜对方。
好朋友固然不必天天联络，但也该让对方有安全感，让他知道无论发生什么事，你都会挺他。
就像双人木筏。
如果只有一方拼命地划，而另一方坐享其成，到最后，用力的那个或许会把划桨丢在地上，然后大喊：‘我不干了！’，掉头就走。
大家都知道爱情需要细心经营。
可是有时我们却会忘记，我们也应该给予友情一定的呵护。
这个世界，没有理所当然。

I can’t believe it’s that time of the year again! Time to sit and ponder and feel guilty about not fulfilling the resolutions… luckily I stopped making resolution two years ago.

1) Helped out and attended countless weddings. It’s nice to watch your friends reach another milestone of their lives.
2) Had a new cohost. Robin’s a great chap too.
3) Baby Trisha said hi to the world. WAY TOO CUTE PICTURE!!!
4) Travelled. Hong Kong, JB, Desaru, Batam, Redang, London, Boston, New York.
